Ein Dj wie kein zweiter für Partys „full of colour, fun and balearic vibes.“ Unsere Watergate Nacht bringt Euch mit Hot Since 82 heute ein Stück Ibiza nach Berlin. Nach einigen Jahren voller Touren und wenig Zeit im Studio erscheint diesen Monat sein neues Album „8-Track“ und die vorab erschienene Single „Buggin“ könnte schon mal nicht schöner sein. Drumherum gibt´s mit unseren Residents Matthias Meyer, den RISE-Crew-Members Hyenah und Floyd Lavine, sowie K.E.E.N.E. und Kristin Velvet ein sommerlich anmutendes Wohlfühl-Programm. Ist ja schon bald wieder soweit.

Hallo Montag Open Air > Uncanny Valley Showcase at IPSE, 30/07/2018

This summer the Dresden based lable Uncanny Valley takes over Hallo Montag every Monday for a special open air party at IPSE.

It’s outdoors by the canal. Doors open from 2pm and the free entrance

This weekend from the 29th of June to the 1st of July the Bergmannstrassenfest is on again. 50 bands will play on four different stages in one of Berlin’s most beautiful streets, the Bergmannstraße in Kreuzberg. Entry is free, so come on over and check it out.

If you’ve never been to the Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin you have missed on one of the best representations of the essence of Berlin culture.

Once a year for a whole weekend all Berlin comes together to celebrate its colourful and unique, multi-cultural, vividly beating soul with a big street festival that spreads from Hermannplatz in Neukölln all the way to Möckernbrücke.

Karneval der Kulturen is an invitation to everyone to experience the cultural, gastronomical and musical variety of the city. It’s easy to spend the whole weekend strolling from stall to stall, watching bands play in the streets or to take in the whirlwind that is the parade on Sunday.

A must see!

01/05/2018 – Free Open Air Bolzplatz

Around the celebrations for the 1st of May there’ll be a Free Open Air at the Bolzplatz in Falkensteinstraße in Kreuzberg. Come and listen to Techno & House, dance, have fun and support the local Cafés and Spätis. Entrance is free and everybody is welcome. Just take care of your trash, avoid bringing glass bottles and pets and be friendly and respectful with the people around you.

Carnival of Cultures street festival 2015

Here we go! It´s time again for the Carnival of Cultures in Berlin, one of the most attractive and funny events in our wonderful city!

Like every year, this week end thousands of people will join in Kreuzberg to breathe the spirit of different cultures, listen to the variety of music and admiring all the costumes and music trucks at the street parade that takes part sunday 25th of May.

The Carnival takes place from friday 22nd to monday 25th around Blücherplatz (U1 and U6 stop “Hallesches Tor”) with over 100 bands and DJ´s performing all kind of imaginable music and over 200 street performers out of the stages!!

Now to the highlight: The Parade on Sunday 24th

It begins at Hermannplatz (U7-U8 stop) at 12.30 pm and goes all along Hasenheide, Gneisenaustraße, Yorckstraße

End: ca. 9 pm, Yorckstraße/Möckernstraße

Berlin Festival 2011 at Tempelhof Airport and Club X-Berg

Berlin Festival with Public Enemy, Boy Gorge and Boys Noize

On the 9th-10th of August, the Berlin Festival will once again take place at the old Tempelhof Airport. The Tempelhof Airport is an awesome location, with the main terminal providing shelter in case of a rainy day. However, we should stay positive! With such a stellar lineup, the Berlin Festival once agin gets a top position in the field of Indie Electro festivals in Europe. They still manage to keep a good mix between Hipster Indie and Freaky Berlin Stylish Electro. Hey, Whoever thought that you would see Public Enemy and Boy George on the same Festival … Interesting!!

Tempelhof Airport is situated right in the middle of Berlin, so there were some problems last year with their neighbours. This year, the festival is split into two parts. Part one is the Berlin Festival during the day at the airport. Part two is the Club X-Berg Festival at the Berlin Arena in Kreuzberg. The Berlin Arena is well known for housing big events, so we can expect a huge non-stop party!

You can get to Tempelhof Airport via the Ring Bahn train from Frankfurter Allee.To Club X-Burger, you can catch the S Bahn for 2 stations.

“Participate in the vibrant sounds and beats of Fête de la Musique – the European and Worldwide Music Day! The Fête de la Musique began in Paris in 1982, and was founded by the popular French cultural minister Jack Lang. The festival originated in a humble burst of musical idealism and a few power connections, and yet, in only two decades has become a wildly popular global event.

This season, the summertime musical event will draw music lovers in over 340 cities worldwide, 60 European cities, 22 of them in Germany alone. On June 21st one can hear all styles of music that is free to the public thanks to all of the musicians, bands, orchestras, choirs, soloists and DJs that perform for free on this day. In Berlin, Fête de la Musique has been produced by the Fête Company since 1995. The festival started as a small movement and has grown to be one of the largest and most widely attended music festivals our city offers!”
