Storyteller Burt Byler from New Orleans will make his way to Bar Bobu for the Folk Night on Tuesday. He’ll be supported by Shotgun Willie and the Texas Pickers. Thus it promises to turn into a great evening full of amazing Americana, Folk and Country. Com’n over, grab a drink, sit down and have a listen. It’s worth it.

Hellraiser is a horror classic and this Friday, May 18th, Saal 2 – Programmkino in Prenzlauer Berg screens this bone chilling piece of film history at midnight. So if you haven’t seen Hellraiser, this is your chance to make up on some popcultural history. It’ll be worth it.
Hellraiser – Der Horrorklassiker zu Mitternacht starts at 23:59 at Saal 2, Schliemannstraße 15. It will be he original version with German subtitles.
On Friday, May 18th the Artliners will host an unplugged gig of rock bands Subcutanea and Substereo. It promises to become a pretty exciting and cool evening, full of grungy rock tunes.

If you’ve never been to the Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin you have missed on one of the best representations of the essence of Berlin culture.
Once a year for a whole weekend all Berlin comes together to celebrate its colourful and unique, multi-cultural, vividly beating soul with a big street festival that spreads from Hermannplatz in Neukölln all the way to Möckernbrücke.
Karneval der Kulturen is an invitation to everyone to experience the cultural, gastronomical and musical variety of the city. It’s easy to spend the whole weekend strolling from stall to stall, watching bands play in the streets or to take in the whirlwind that is the parade on Sunday.
