You like to be out and about and you like classical music? Well, then you’re in luck. The Classic Open Air Gendarmenmarkt 2018 are on. Listen to classical music in one of the most beautiful locations of Berlin, the Gendarmenmarkt.

With musical pieces from different areas and genres the Classic Open Air Gendarmenmarkt is going to be one of the musical highlights this summer.

The only downside is the price. Tickets start at 59€ at Ticketmaster.de. However if you’re into classical music and if you have a few bucks to spare, this is something to spend them on.

05/07/2018 – Brandon Miller @ Friedhof der Märzgefallenen

It’s Miller Time! American singer-songwriter Brandon Miller will play his Americana and Folk infused songs on Thursday the 5th of July at Friedhof der Märzgefallenen. The Konzert mit Brandon Miller will be a feast for your ears. It’s a journey into another time and place. If you’re ready for it, doors will open at 9pm.

05/07/2018 – James Michael Rodgers + Lucas Laufen live @ Artliners

Glaswegian singer songwriter James Michael Rodgers and Australian singer songwriter Lucas Laufen will hit the stage at Artliners Berlin tomorrow Thursday the 5th of July.

The two wildly different musicians will take you on a ride from the rough to the thoughtful, from the bottom of glass of whiskey to the highs of a sombre falsetto. Yet both will catch your minds and hearts, each in their own special way.

“How can that be?” you ask? Well, come on over to the James Michael Rodgers & Lucas Laufen show at Artliners and see for yourself. Doors open at 8pm. Entrance is gonna be free, with only a small 1€ donation which you pay with your first drink.

01/07/2018 – 50 Year’s Anniversary Screening of “2001 – A Space Odyssey”

The Filmrauschpalast Moabit shows Stanley Kubrick’s “2001 – A Space Odyssey” and it’s going to be awesome.

It’s been 50 years since the movie was first released. Ever since it has been considered to be one of the most influential pieces of cinematic artistry ever created. It crosses borders of genre and style. A timeless classic and right on time for it’s anniversary the Filmrauspalast shows it on the BIG screen.

To celebrate its anniversary there will be screenings of the restored 70mm 4K-DCP version of “2001 – A Space Odyssey”. Additionally the Filmrauschpalast will have several screenings of the 35mm version of “2001 – A Space Odyssey” too.

It’s a must for anyone who likes film and for anyone who wants to see history first hand.

On the 1st of July the Filmrauschpalast is showing the 35mm version at 2:30pm.
