The BERLIN MUSIC WEEK is Berlin‘s biggest Music Happening of the Year. For the first time Berlin presents the diversity and vitality of its regional and international music scene under a single umbrella brand. From 6 – 12 Sept, Berlin Music Week offers a broad spectrum of events with a musical theme. This decentralised and urban music festival combines all kinds of activities, embracing all genres and business sectors and covering all aspects of popular music, the music industry and musical culture generally. A central event is the joint presentation by Popkomm, all2gethernow and Berlin Festival at the decommissioned Tempelhof Airport. Moreover, Berlin Clubnacht will be celebrating the enormous potential of Berlin’s club culture throughout the heart of the city.

 

During the Berlin Music Week the entrance hall of the Tempelhof airport willbe converted into a vibrant music city. The programme from 8 – 10 Sept from 10am to 6pm will be diverse, all with free entrance.

 

All 2 Gether nowALL2GETHERNOW

(a2n) organizes the conference of the Berlin Music Week. a2n is an open platform for new ideas and strategies in music and culture. a2n invites all involved to share experiences and ideas across all genres and regions. Thinking ahead through creative and collaborative exchange is the main focus.

 

U-Ton

The historically laden underground station Platz der Luftbrücke will house a showcase projection screen for Berlin labels and publishers during the Berlin Music Week. With the U-TON project, the Berlin Music Week is using an off-site to present the rich diversity of the Berlin music scene. Even before reaching the central Hotspot of the Berlin Music Week, the public can experience fresh Berlin sounds in the southern entrance hall en route to Tempelhof airport. U-TON presents audio and visual highlights in a charming atmosphere, entertaining passing visitors by leading them through the musical spectrum of the capital.


Popkomm

 

Networking and the extension of international business relations are at the heart of the Popkomm . The marketplace and showcase festival will take place on 8 + 9 Sept at the Tempelhof airport area. The Showcase program will feature 60 bands from across the world. The Berlin Festival It take place at Tempelhof Airport on 10 – 11 Sept. Live experience is the focus with 70 indie and electro acts across three stages. With the festival ticket it’s also possible to visit the popkomm public day on Friday and the all2gethernow forum on Friday and Saturday.

 

Club Spree Berlin

 

Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg holds particular significance for Berlin’s nightlife. This cultural district along the river Spree is offering a huge variety of music genres, events, beach bars, and indoor and outdoor venues. Club Spree -Berlin uses solar operated boats to make this exceptional club district come to life as an attractive destination during Berlin Music Week.
