Earth Hour 2010 Turn off the lights! Care about climate change.

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Australia. 2.2 million homes and businesses turned their lights off for one hour to make their stand against climate change.One year later Earth Hour had become a global  movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries. Landmarks such like the, Sydney Harbour Bridge, CN Tower in Toronto, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Rome’s Colosseum,  stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

 

 

Tonight we turn off the lights at the U inn Berlin Hostel for one Hour from 20:30 till 21:30.  About 500 places in Berlin and over 5000 places in Germany its getting dark tonight. Millions worldwide!! Even the Brandenburg Gate join the Earth Hour. Get involved at www.earthhour.org
